About

I am a psychologist, educator, researcher, and coach whose work centers on identity and the systems that shape how people grow, lead, and communicate. My professional journey spans psychology, organizational development, and marketing, and that intersection is where my work feels most honest and most useful.

Across academic, professional, and creative spaces, I have been drawn to one core question: how people come to understand who they are and how that understanding influences what they build, lead, and contribute. Over time, this curiosity evolved into a focus on identity clarity, not as a fixed trait, but as a dynamic process shaped by context, relationships, and time. This perspective informs my approach to leadership development, branding, coaching, and research.

My background includes doctoral training in psychology, extensive experience in higher education, and decades of applied work in training, development, and coaching. Working across these environments has reinforced my belief that meaningful development happens at the intersection of theory and practice. Research provides structure and language; lived experience reveals complexity, constraints, and opportunity. I aim to honor both.

Rather than treating professional roles as separate silos, I approach my work through a systems lens. Individuals, organizations, and brands are embedded in larger social, cultural, and institutional ecosystems. When those systems are ignored, growth efforts become fragmented. When they are understood, development becomes more sustainable, ethical, and aligned.

This philosophy shapes everything I do, from research and teaching to coaching and consulting. Whether working with students, leaders, or organizations, my goal is to support thoughtful identity formation, grounded decision making, and adaptive growth. I am especially interested in helping people articulate who they are, why their work matters, and how to move forward with coherence in complex environments.

Skills

Marketing

My marketing skill is grounded in formal training,  established marketing models and decision tools, and systems-based thinking. I hold the Professional Certified Marketer (PCM) credential from the American Marketing Association and the Certified Digital Marketing Professional (CDMP) designation from the Digital Marketing Institute. My work draws on evidence-based marketing strategy, ethical practice, and consumer psychology, with particular attention to identity, context, and long-term brand development. Through advanced graduate study and certification-based application, I focus on translating research, data, and strategic models into clear, practical marketing decisions that support sustainable growth.

Coaching

My coaching work is grounded in formal training across career coaching, positive psychology, solution-focused coaching, and transformational coaching. I have coached individuals and teams both within and outside of workplace settings, supporting goal clarity, decision making, and sustainable behavior change. My approach integrates evidence-based coaching methods with an understanding of individual context, systems, and role demands, allowing coaching to remain practical, reflective, and adaptable to real-world conditions.
